Small Pelagic (2022)

Advocacy and awareness for transparency in fisheries and the sustainable management of stocks and critical sites for small pelagics
Due to the opacity that surrounds the exploitation of small pelagics in the countries of the sub-region, the main objective of the project is to defend, develop skills and raise awareness among stakeholders for transparency in fisheries and for the sustainable management of small pelagics and their critical sites , according to the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries (EAF).

Problems We Face

This sustainable management of small pelagics and critical sites requires skills, knowledge and real commitments, without which state and non-state actors cannot play their roles dynamically and effectively in the protection of critical sites for small pelagics and their exploitation sustainable.
The project is carried out by our partner PRCM ( insert lien du site PRCM) , operates in Cape Verde, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
